Been awhile since your last scuba dive? It happens. But, what do you do in a current? What's the signal for "turn the dive"? What are the steps to a pre-dive safety check? What is a predive safety check?

Not sure? No worries. Whether you’ve been dry for a while and need to refresh scuba principles and skills, or you've been diving a lot but want to review the basics, PADI ReActivate is for you.

Getting Started is as Easy as 1-2-3:

Step 1: Watch action-based scenarios.

Download the program (here) to watch realistic dive scenarios. Then, see if you remember how to best handle each situation. Re-Activate monitors your responses and moves on when you're spot on, or delivers more detailed information if you weren't quite right.

Step 2: Connect with a Al Mahara Diving Shop

Dive back into the water with a PADI Professional to review your in water scuba skills (optional).

Step 3: Get an updated certification card.

Complete both the ReActivate program and the inwater skills with a PADI Professional and receive a certificate of completion plus a PADI replacement certification card.

PADI Scuba ReActivate Program

Practical Skills

You make a confined water dive to put the polish back on your skills - easy way to limber up mentally and physically for diving!

What You Learn

You go over scuba knowledge you learned during your initial training. Then, practice fundamental skills in a pool or a confined water area. You review:

  • Safe diving practices
  • Dive planning fundamentals
  • Problem management
  • Breathing air at depth
  • Recreational diving and dive tables: basic knowledge
  • Recreational diving and dive tables: dive planning
  • After you complete the knowledge assessment, you go through the Confined Water Skills Preview. You review information about each skill, why it’s important, points to remember when performing the skill and a short video clip. Completing this section just before practicing is a great way to refresh your knowledge of how each skill is performed.

Duration: 2-3hours knowledge development and skills practice and review. I would like to know if you are free on the weeks days? So we can make a plan for you.

Also find our fun diving information so you can book in head for any open water dives after the refresher session.
