Underwater Clean-Up Dive Trip 9th June 2018

Location: Al Mahara Diving Center at Beach Rotana Hotel Abu Dhabi Date: 9th of June 2018 Time: 8am - 3pm Divers must register before hand and have dived within the last 6 months. Please contact Al Mahara Diving Center to book a scuba refresher if it has been longer than 6 months since you last dived. Snacks and drinks will be provided on board! Booking: Registration 250dhs for 2 dives! Please email Rebekka at [email protected] for bookings! There are limited spots available so please get in quick to secure your booking! What to bring: Please bring a hat and sun protection! Along with your regular dive gear (if you have it) please bring a cutting device, a whistle and a surface marker buoy. To rent dive gear, please contact Al Mahara Diving Center. We have a special offer of only 50dhs for full gear hire for clean up divers on the day! We will provide clean up and safety gear as well as a dive site safety briefing. We will record and upload details on what we collect onto the Ocean Conservancy marine debris database. We are introducing a No Waste action plan. Plastic pollution is an ever increasing issue for our marine environment and we want to lead by example by striving to reduce our own impacts. We will have water, drinks and snacks on board but please support this initiative by bringing your own reusable water bottle and a coffee cup, and pay attention to your daily choices by actively refusing to use disposable plastics, and by reducing, reusing and recycling as much as possible.
